The next chapter.
2010, it’s been an amazing year. Wishing everyone a wonderful, healthy, happy 2011. May your numbers stay between the lines of the Dex, may you never bonk on your bike rides, and may your insulin flow freely, un-occluded, for all time. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
So true.
This. Is. Hilarious. It’s funny only because all of us with diabetes and the people who spend a lot of time with us can relate to these ridiculous statements that come out of people’s mouths. Special thanks to the author Joanne over at Death of A Pancreas for this amazingness, and to Kerri Sparling over at [...]
Lost in translation…
Last week, I blogged about a young man struggling with his diabetes, and parents at their wits end, desperate to try and help him manage his disease. There was an element of the conversation that particularly peaked my interest though, and that was the conversation sparked by me asking the question: does he have a [...]
Special Delivery.
It’s not just Monday folks, but the Monday after Christmas, and since that gets me down anyways, I’m about to do a little ranting and raving. I work full time. Let’s start there. 18. And 28.
It’s my birthday today my friends, so I am going to keep this post short and sweet since I’ve got some partying to do. My birthday is just a few days before the anniversary of my diagnosis of diabetes, so each year that passes for me in age is also a milestone in my time [...]
