New eBook: Fit with Diabetes from DiabetesStrong.com author Christel Oerum
If you haven’t read Christel Oerum’s blog, DiabetesStrong.com , then it’s time to add it to your subscription feed. Christel has been an inspiration to me for a long time. Living with diabetes since 1997, she blogs about health and fitness while managing diabetes. One look at the photos on her blog and her fit physique and you may assume that Christel’s advice must be geared towards body builders and endurance athletes, but that could not be further from the truth. Christel’s blog, videos, coaching, and now, her e-book, all make diabetes fitness and nutrition accessible to all of us, regardless of our weight or physical fitness. As a busy mom, I’ve used Christel’s video workouts to squeeze in a routine in my basement during my toddler’s naps, and her recipe for cooking the perfect chicken breast has become a weekly meal for our family.
Hop over to Christel’s blog here, or download her eBook here to get started. Christel, thank you for showing us that fitness and nutrition with diabetes doesn’t have to be complicated!

This is an Amazing book Jason, thank you!!..
My father has diabetes and because of that, i’ve gotten to learn a lot about the disease. there some interesting facts i thought i would share here, that for some reason doctors never communicate.
Doctors will not explain in great details the cause of your disease, often referring to genetics, excess weight and lack of exercise. They will always prescribe the medications they know, just to be on the safe side.
Did you know that diabetes is a 300 billion dollars a year industry? In other words they will transform you into a slave of the large pharmaceutical companies as you will have to take unpredictable drugs, daily and forever, until you die.
I was close to losing my father to this until i got a life saving revelation. I honestly did not think e would be interested in it but surprisingly, he went on wit this natural approach. With and change in diet, he went from 12.5A1C to 7.3 in 2 months!!!, he lost 18 pounds, his migraines are gone, fatigue has declined, he calls me more and we’ve been hanging out more as a result! 🙂
Tell me what you think of this http://bit.ly/2G9Okrw
Way to go Raul, i can imagine how it might have felt as my son Aadam was diagnosed with Type 1 #Diabetes when he was four years old. He has never let his #T1D come in his path. To us he is no less than a #superheroe. As a T1D #parent I would advise you all to help your T1D child to lead a happier, healthier lives by giving them constant encouragement, learn what you can about diabetes, and make sure that your #child eats properly, exercise, and stay on top of his blood sugar control every day. http://bit.ly/2Wyyg8o
