Power to the D-Parents!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know I love me a good song parody! I found this little gem over on my fave D-blogger’s site, www.sixuntilme.com. This is a parody song about moms of children with Type 1 diabetes, sung to the tune of Katy Perry’s “California Gurls.” There’s no music video (yet!), but it was kinda fun to read the lyrics as they’re sung so you can catch all the dia-puns! I just thought this was too funny and cute not to post. And it was a great reminder to thank all the amazing parents out there who have to “be a pancreas” to their kids with diabetes every single day. You are true heroes and many of us (myself included) owe our lives to you. Thank you!
