Sit all afternoon, take notes, answer questions, learn.

Step out for conference call. Back in.

5:30. Time to workout. Co-worker:“Got a minute?”

6:40. Hotel room. Answer emails.

6:59. Shit.

Race to reception.

Wine? Beer? Cocktail?

Buffet dinner.

Top steak with nacho cheese sauce. Add lettuce. Create salad.

Back to room.

Those business trips really throw in the wrench in the works, don’t they? Different food, schedules, etc…etc.. IF I manage to get my workouts in, it’s a small miracle.

Seriously! They are brutal. I managed to squeeze in 30 min on the elliptical yesterday, for which half of I was also on a conference call dealing with a last minute presentation change, and then I promptly got low at the end of the working, forcing me to take in 100 calories and cut my total burn in half. Grrrr.
