Too funny for me to caption….
…I can’t with this one. Do you guys have some good captions for this? Because I’m laughing too hard to even think of something to say…..this was spotted at a well-known, heavily traveled candy store in a cute little Oregon coast town that we went to for the day. All I can say is that I’m SO GLAD I got the regular candy! This candy is JUST FOR US WITH THE ‘BETES ok? But beware the side effects.
They’re really sellin‘ it, right?

Some years a go my dear wife (a type 3) bought and ate a pound of these sugar-free gummy bears. When the mannitol hit it was not a pleasant experience. The store’s warning in the display is highly responsible
Although with the slow(er) absorption but similar final carb load, these really aren’t good for ANYONE - including diabetics!! I don’t know how many times I’ve argued with the food samplers at Costco that ‘no-sugar’ where they replaced sugar with sugar alcohols doesn’t mean it’s diabetic-friendly.
Been there, had that experience!! My mom gave me this nice valentines bear, with a small bucket of candy before school one day (this was middle school)… Ate all the candy within 1-2 hours… Ended up making it as far as the bushes outside the classroom to throw up, and then ran to the bathroom for the rest of the effects. NEVER AGAIN! Going to always bolus for the sugar, thank you very much!

I guess they’re thinking diabetics are full of sh….
