Glucose-sensing tattoos? Ink me up!

I am all for new gadgetry but I am even more for outside-the-box diabetes managment solutions - and this one is the best thing I’ve heard since CGM - tattoos made with ink that change color as glucose levels fluctuate. With technology that was originally developed to monitor heart health, the properties of the ink could finally make it possible to detect glucose levels without taking blood. Although this is certainly years from the market, I love to see scientists thinking of creative ways to make diabetes management easier. And just think of the design options! You could get a “medic altert” tattoo on yoor wrist - no need to wear a bracelet and no need to fingerstick - how’s that for efficiency!
